Nose of blackberry, plum, black cherry, vanilla and oak; palate is smooth at the front with assertive tannins on the finish:  pepper, black cherry, vanilla, raspberry and plum along with smoky and cocoa notes on the finish.  Look out for the 15% alcohol as it'll hit you - especially in a wine this tasty.  (****+)
