A blend heavy on Merlot, with 58%, followed by Cabernet Franc (30%), Malbec (8%) and Syrah (4%) – by all rights this is a Merlot-Cabernet-plus, but it’s well-priced for a BC red, especially when the majority we see sit well north of $20, so who’s going to quibble. Nicely layered dark fruit, herbal and spice notes with great linger on the finish, but it’s the fruit that keeps this rockin’. Price: $19.95 – Rating: ****
