To be considered Rapsani you have to be a-third of each of the following grapes: Xinomavro, Krassato and Stavroto (I know household names the lot), but this was an exceptional version, hand-picked and specially selected; aged 18 months in 100% French oak, of which 40% is new; but the oak does not seem to overtake the wine, it's silky smooth with dark berry fruit, smoky notes along with some cinnamon and vanilla notes on the finish.
