This Alvarinho is similar to the Parcela Unica in its make up but instead of new oak it spends 9 months in used French with 12 hours of skin fermentation giving it a spicy mid-weight palate with mac apple, orange zest and lemon drop notes … it’s nicely balanced between oak, fruit and spice and in a blind tasting it could easily pass for a Chardonnay.
