This smoky, savoury and delicious version of Gamay, from the leaders in Gamay Noir production in Ontario, is once again "da bomb". Nine months in French oak (20% in new for 5 months) and it shows blackberry, black raspberry, black cherry and a hit of black licorice on the palate which runs all the way through to the finish ... always worth picking up, ageing and trying again in 3-5 years (or sometimes longer).
