I tried this wine after only 14 days in bottle – which means there was an element of “bottle shock” involved – but the nose had plenty of tropical, peach and guava aromas while the palate had hints of those tropical fruit elements and peachy notes – at the moment it’s simple and tasty and when it comes out of shock it should become more expressive – the question is when will you or your guests come out of their shock after seeing the sticker price.
