Here 100% Lenko old vines Chardonnay is aged 10 months in 40% new oak with 60% of the wine under-goes wild ferment and only 30% of the wine went through malolactic fermentation (ots of numbers to try and keep straight). The result is a creamy, buttery, spicy version of Chardonnay that retains good acid balance, buttered-caramel apple and zesty lime meringue on the mid-palate that finishes long with poached pear and apricot.
