There’s lots going on here, not least of which is the robust plum, cherry and chocolate that can be found front and centre on this wine: sweet fruit gives way to floral vanilla and smoky elements before sweeping in again pre-finish with rough tannins taking up the finale – give it 2-3 years to mellow then you’ll have one of “those” wines.
