This British Columbia Cabernet reminds me more of an Argentinean Malbec then a Cabernet, but it also delivers some B.C. attitude in the process: mocha, blackberry, black cherry, smoked-plum and herbal notes all make an appearance before some gritty tannins take over on the finish. Give it a couple of years to mellow.
