A wine that originates in the Gimblett Gravels of the Hawkes Bay, and Mission liked it so much they gave it two names instead of one. Twenty months in oak this Merlot dominated wine (along with both Cabernets: Franc and Sauvignon) has 30% new in the mix: tobacco, smoky, mineral and violet also make an appearance … nice soft finish with simple pepper and mineral notes which are the keys to its elegance.
