Made in a region you probably have never heard of at a winery barely on the map comes this Pinot Noir made by winemaker Jonathan Holgate who is so passionate about the grape he’s followed it around the world. All estate fruit is aged in 40% new oak and this Pinot has the goods: gentle spice, cran-raspberry, sour cherry, hint of smoky-oak and a spiced-cherry/raspberry middle rounded out by plum, raspberry and spicy finish. It’s focused and a pure-Pinot delight.
