Mainly Carmenere goes into this wine with 8% Petit Verdot to add complexity, colour and texture, aged 18 months in 80% new French oak. The nose is very pretty with mint, violet, blackberry and mocha, which lures you into your first sip, from there your tongue takes over and wants more – the mint carries over followed by black cherry, blueberry, gentle spice and a long finish.
