One sip sold me on this beauty Chardonnay, I just needed to take 3 or 4 more just to be sure. Robyn’s block was planted in the mid-1980’s, so Tawse winemakers have some 30+ year old material to work with … the wine was both barrel fermented and barrel aged in neutral French oak for 12 months … a great creamy vanilla note greets you on that first sip, lingers with apple, peach and citrus notes and finishes with mouth cleansing acidity and great length; one of Tawse’s best Chards in a while. Price: $45.95 – Rating: ****+
