What makes this wine so exciting are those incredible peppery notes that start at the beginning and finish well after the last swallow. The Petit Verdot grapes here went through the full appassimento method and then were aged 17 months in one year old French oak. The core of the wine is juicy cherry plus blue and black fruit … but always with the underlying notes of spice and pepper that makes it so intriguing, and worth going back to time and time again.
