What a lovely bit of sparkling magic this is: Sauvignon Blanc bubbles seem to have been a gimmick from New Zealand but the winemaker at North 42 took it seriously in this Charmat version, keeping the liveliness and fruit of this grape intact without going over-board. A mix of delicious and green apple kick things off, layering in some jolly rancher bite plus melon and citrus with hints of something tropical and even floral along with keeping that bracing acidity … it’s a long finish you won’t soon forget, nor is it a wine that you should let lie around awhile because it’s perfect for summer sipping.
