This 100% Sangiovese spends 17 months in oak then another 12 months in bottle … the grapes come from their oldest vines located at 400m elevation – plenty of red berry fruit, hints of tannins, with great acid balance: silky on the palate with floral, blackberry, black cherry and pencil shavings on the finish … this wine needs time and food.
