The history of Erath dates back to 1965 when Dick Erath made his first wine in his garage – so smitten by winemaking he bought his first vineyard in 1968 on which he planted 23 varieties on a mere 4 acres. Resplendent is one of those Pinot Noirs you don’t soon forget, it bridges the gap between California juicy and Oregon subtlety – it shows delicacy and yet has a full on fruity nature: cherry, hints of vanilla, great raspberry and all with an acid balance that makes this a thrill for both the mouth and the nose.
