Interesting to see an older bottle on the shelves at any winery, especially one of this age. This Merlot spends four years in older oak barrels and is made only in “special years” of which 2010 is definitely one. It’s currently hitting its oxidative mark on the nose, while the palate shows spices and plum-like fruit in a complete kinda way … though it comes off more port-like on the finish. Drink now.
