This all estate Pinot spends a year in a multitude of different aged oak, namely 1-2-3 & 4-year-old barrels with only 20% of it being new. There’s both typicity of Pinot Noir character, in the form of earthy, sour cherry and smoky notes … but there are lots of layers underneath with good tannin weight … this one will need a year or two to come out of its shell – but once it does the fruit should pop!
