One of the Crus of Beaujolais (Moulin-a-Vent) and the one they call “Seigneur” (Lord); the average vine age for this Gamay is 50 years and they make about 20,000 bottle, aged completely in stainless steel to retain freshness yet still has some age-ability … Rich cherry and white pepper lead the way, but in truth it’s that upfront red fruit that is just what doctor ordered; long, lingering and delicious.
