Not tasting a lot of new wines lately, especially those from the LCBO - but this one came out in late March and was one of those wines that blew me away, not just for the taste but for the price - this is yet another value from the Languedoc region. It starts off earthy and smoky but then finds its stride mid-palate with dark fruits, like black cherry and cassis, before moving into with some really pleasant chocolate notes; it has a lovely sweet fruit finish that will have you sipping all night long.
