A bit of a surprise here as Sandbanks is not known for their Chardonnay – this one was tasted blind at the All Canadian Wine championships back in July 2020, and it shocked me when I learned its origin. There’s a certain elegance here that melds white and tropical fruits with oak and acidity – it’s incredibly sippable and totally enjoyable.  Price: $22.95 – Rating: ****
