This is pretty typical Pinot Noir with its cranberry and cherry notes right off the hop - plus a nose that adds in floral (read: vanilla) notes and even sprays in some mineral action. The acidity is on point, the tannins are ripe yet supple and there's even a little anise that tickles the back palate. Price: $47.95 - Rating: *** ½+
