A wine with some "ballsy character" that doles out some savory and smokey notes before it kicks in with fruit. The dark fruit does show up, but there's also some greenness to this wine that is very 2018 and the oak also seems to lay in a little heavy. This may just need some time that those cooler vintage wines often do ... Right now, it's a little disjointed but getting there.  Price: $39.95 - Rating: *** ½
