I really lovely version of the SpecK Family Reserve Chardonnay - there's complexity, but not too much to get lost in, plus great length to the finish and plenty of fruit: apple, nectarine and peach pit join a subtle buttery, mineral and spicy character, all brought together by the acidity that'll clear your palate and have you craving another sip.  Price: $29.95 – Rating: ****
