Back in 2016, I discovered Moraine Pinot Noir and now some 5 years later I have discovered it again ... This wine has a pseudo-New Zealand flare to it: light, fresh, fruit forward - but most definitely Pinot Noir. It's all clone 777 for you Pinot-philes out there, but what impressed me the most is the aromas and flavors that roar out of the glass. Delicate spice and floral (violets) notes, plus the bright cherry-strawberry fruit and well-balanced acidity ... This is a pretty bottle of wine, and reaches my Lionel Richie level of drinkability, “All Night Long”. Price $27.00 – Rating: **** ½
