This is the Chateau's Bordeaux blend they make in those best years, the one that'll be good in 20 years or more. First, let's talk about the wine: this version of the eculius is full of cherry, cranberry and smokey characteristics; the wine shows an elegance with its silky tannins and good acid backbone. But here's where I push back on the age ability of the wine... This is the most accessible aquilous I have ever tasted, meaning I doubt this has the 20-year plus lifespan of previous versions.
