(April 26, 2016) ... Straight Roussanne seems like a rarity, but after trying this wine it makes you wish they'd make a little more of it. Yes it's 6 years from vintage, yes it was fresher when originally released, but there is something to be said about discovering a grape on its own with a little age behind it: lemon drops along with some creamy vanilla and lush tropical fruit, plus a touch of limeade on the finish. Lovely still.
