(March 2022) ... The DOC was born in 1967, and the DOCG in 1984. Use of white grapes may not exceed 10% and Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon may not exceed 15%. The wine may not be released before September 1 of the year following the harvest; Riserva requires a minimum of 2 years’ maturation, of which 6 months must be in oak barrels. juicy blackberry, pencil shavings and smoke - there's nice complexity on the palate, with a little mocha / tobacco (****)
