It’s the newest way to get Ontario wines at home, one bottle at a time, from a variety of your favourite wineries:

Once again I got a chance to taste some of the offerings from Case-Wine, this time a few Sauvignon Blancs – here are those reviews:

Hinterbrook 2021 Sauvignon Blanc Hintrebrook Sauv Blanc
Well, 2021 is going to be a difficult year for red wine drinkers; on the other hand, those who like white will be quite happy with the early efforts of our winemakers. This Hinterbrook version has a beautiful delicate citrus core leaning grapefruit, adding nectarine and then a little white peach creeps in on the finish. It's not an overpowering or intense Sauvignon Blanc, but it's certainly one to be enjoyed on a hot day.

Konzelmann Sauv BlancKonzelmann 2020 Sauvignon Blanc, Reserve Series
A pleasant Sauvignon Blanc from Konzelmann with notes of green melon and grapefruit zest; the finish packs some peach and a nice acidity. I like mine a little on the fresher side, but this is a fine version from a hot vintage that still holding up well.

Leaning Post 2019 Sauvignon Blanc Leaning Post Sauv Blanc
2019 was a good year for Sauvignon Blanc - it had the right level of ripeness and acidity and at Leaning Post they took full advantage of it. The nose of this Sauvignon Blanc is on the tropical fruit side, backed by peach and grapefruit ... Those tropical vibes continue on the palate doling out the likes of pineapple, grapefruit, green apple and even some floral notes. The acidity is truly on point and helps to keep things fresh and lively with a long bright finish.
Very Highly Recommended
Rating: **** (4 stars)
