On the Road with the Grape Guy is a on-going feature that follows me from event to event ... I post my thoughts, feelings and reviews of what happened and what I tasted ... basically it is here that I review the events I attend and the things that thrilled me.
Spent most of the day on a plane or waiting for one, but I'm finally here in Verona at Hotel Bologna ... small but comfortable. Slept a couple of hours in the afternoon before heading down to the welcome dinner in the hotel restaurant: Risto Rubiani. Here are some of the wines tasted and the food tried:

It's the annual Chilean wine tasting in Toronto and with more than 100 wines in the room its hard to nail down a small list of favourites, so below I look at twenty-three of the best wines in the room, starting with the whites and moving to the reds; and for the most part these wines are not only great for sipping and serving at the table, but they are also great value for what's in the bottle ...
