Ontario Wines Reviewed : The Wines to Get Now (vol. 70)

28 Aug 2020

This is my continuing journey and search for the new look of the e-Blast, so welcome to my sandbox ... This week I add back the "International Selection"; everything else stays fundamentally the same. Thanks to all of you who have offered feedback and for coming on this journey of discovery with me.

Now, let's get to it ... In this week’s blast there are the usual 6 wines you need to put on your radar for purchase: there are 3 Chardonnays (one from a surprising source, one from a traditional source and one in a style that doesn't usually make these "need to get" lists), a Pinot Noir, a reserve Cabernet and an Italian-style wine made in the County.

The International Selection is a sparkling wine from South Africa that over-delivers for its price … A link to the Rose Report can be found in the middle of the blast (for those who say they have already seen it, I point you to page 41-45 for the new July-August additions). You'll also find the usual video links and the new format for the “Side Bar” articles - a what's behind the picture kinda-thing - so far you have enjoyed that guessing game, I hope it continues.

Be safe - stay healthy - drink well.
