Ontario Reviews: The Wines to Get Now (vol. 21)

01 Jun 2017

Last Thursday (May 25) was International Chardonnay Day (ICD), as you can imagine, as a staunch ABCer, this would not be my favourite “holiday” – but I succumbed to the pressure and opened up a bottle of 2010 Cave Spring Dolomite Chardonnay.  I don’t like my Chardonnay too old and this one was just on the cusp of where I like them – so I was quite impressed.  That got me thinking about other Chardonnays I’ve tried recently – and so in honour of ICD and the upcoming i4C in Niagara (July 21-23, 2017) here’s a few of my recent favourites.

Also in this e-blast be sure to check out the latest videos and podcasts - plus links to some reviews of older wines to see if they have stood the test of time.
