Chateau Monbadon 2010 (France)

(October 2, 2016) ... Bordeaux is not my strong suit - I leave that to others who have devoted their study to it, but I do know what I like, and this Monbadon was a delight when I first tasted it, and now a few years later it's still going strong: smooth, blackberry, cassis, with a touch of woodsiness and oak-spices. I think I'll hold my other bottle for a couple more years just to see where it goes.
