(December 22, 2016) ... My annual visit to my in-laws in the US where I picked up a case of wine from Virgin Wine Club, I had to drink a few bottles on this side of the pond to lighten the load going back home. This wine was a Tempranillo-Cabernet Sauvignon blend that showed lots of wood with an underlay of cassis and anise, but cedar ruled on both the nose and palate, but there was also a smoky finish. Not a favourite but still drinkable.
